A little update

So I know it has been a long time since I posted anything so I will play a little catch up... I know it is almost Christmas but I am finally putting some Thanksgiving pics up. We are all really excited for Christmas. We will be leaving for Gunnison on Christmas Eve. I hope I can get everything ready to go by then! I have been super busy working and getting ready for Christmas. I made tons of yummy treats this year... caramels, cho. covered pretzels (ok chocolate covered everything!), sugar cookies, our cute gingerbread house, and probably more to come. I think I go a little overboard. We also did tile throughout our house the end of Nov. It looks so awesome- I will try to post some pics of it sometime. We are hoping to paint in Jan.(we will see how that goes). Anyway here are a few random pics from the last month..

Beau's sugar crazed smile
Our gorgeous tree! We were lame this year and bought our tree at home depot. Believe it or not it is real , but it is so perfect it looks fake. It smells so good. Beau and I had a fun time decorating it while Luke napped. When he woke up all the ornaments on the bottom had to get put to the top, so it looks a little sad now but oh well. what ya gonna do!

Here are most of the boy cousins on the Blackwell side at Thanksgiving. I think just Luke is missing.. I will explain that one later.. Spencer (the one without pants) said " everybody close your eyes" right before this pic. so funny!

sorry its sideways.. here is Luke with his uncle Cory. If he looks a little tired it is because he woke up at 3 that morning and wouldn't go back to sleep. Normally, at home if he wakes up I can just let him cry until he lays back down and goes to sleep. Since we were at Grandma's and every bed and room in the house had somebody sleeping in it. I couldn't let him cry and wake up the whole house. So I had to get him out and try to get him to sleep. He laid in bed with me and basically just cried or beat me up the whole time. So we ended up in the bathroom because it was the only room I could contain him in and keep him from waking up everybody. He was being so wild and would not go back to sleep so we were up the whole time from 3 am and on. My mom got up at around 8 with him and let me go back to sleep and this pic is sometime around 9 or 10 when Cory put the sleeper hold on him and knocked him out for a few hours. Whew.. it is so fun to go home and see everybody, but man my kids do not do well getting out of their schedules.
Here is Beau at Thanksgiving dinner. He wanted the drumstick this year. He said he wanted meat with bones in it. And he did pretty well with it!
