Here is a picture of our house! We drove by it last night and saw the sold sign and we were so excited. We still have to do the inspection tomorrow, but it should go well.

We got our house!

I got a call this morning and we found out the bank accepted our offer on the cute house we really, really wanted. We are super excited. It was a foreclosure in Coral Canyon. We will probably close at the end of October. We got everything we wanted including a home warranty, they are paying our closing costs, and money for repairs! We are so excited to finally own our own home. It feels like we have been renting forever. Yea!!!

So funny little story from yesterday. I don't know why but our boys room locks from the outside (apparently whoever lived here before us liked to lock their kids in their bedroom). Luke, Beau and I were in the boys bedroom. I was making Beau's bed and Beau decided to lock the door to keep Luke inside- only he locked all of us in their bedroom. It was around 4 o'clock and I was pretty bugged. I looked everywhere to find something to pick the lock, but I couldn't find anything. I gave up for a minute and decided to wait it out until TJ got home from work around 5:15. Then I realized I had left our front door open- so we climbed out the window, opened the gate and walked through our neighbor's yard (luckily we live on the end of the townhouse row- I don't think they would want us walking through their house!) And walked through our front door! Whew!!

Just a little update

Well life has been really great for us right now. We are so blessed and thankful for all that we have. Everything just works out as it should. Our old white car has had some issues and we thought it would cost a fortune to fix. It actually only cost about 150 to get it fixed. I was way happy about that. We had 3 offers on foreclosed houses in Coral Canyon in Washington, UT, and we just found out we didn't get the first one. We were 10 thousand under what it sold for. I look at it as a good thing because we bid 5 thousand more for the other 2 houses (they are all in the same neighborhood) and they weren't quite as nice. So we are hopeful we will get one of the other two. And we actually found out in only about 3 weeks. Which is really fast for a short sale- so I hear. Anyway if we get one of these houses it will be such a great deal and a great investment for us. We will have instant equity. Anyway and last Sunday I decided I wanted to start working again and by Tuesday I had a job! It's just at a Smartstyle salon in St. George. They are going to let me work a couple nights a week from 4-8. TJ will be able to watch the kids so I can work guilt free! And I have really missed doing hair so it will be fun to get back into it again! I start tonight and I'm pretty excited about it. It will be a nice little change of scenery for me. I love my boys so much, but I need a little time to myself sometimes too! Anyway, we are so blessed!

Beau's Batman Party

Beau's birthday party was on Saturday. It was lots of fun. The kid got really spoiled once again. His Grandma Petersen gave him a Batman costume and he pretty much hasn't taken it off since he opened it. He is a little bit obsessed with Batman right now!
