I'm back?

Well, it looks as though I've fallen off the blogging bandwagon. I mostly blame my new phone, pinterest, angry birds, Christmas and my constant need to craft and create. Maybe a new post will be coming soon, but maybe not. Don't get too excited :)

Highlights since my last post:

Beau is apparently the most well behaved and smartest kid in his class.

Luke is not, and always keeps things exciting. Such as a $1200 trip to the ER after a tumble off the bunk beds and mild concussion.

Zoe is crazy and tries to climb everything, but also is very girly and tries to do her own hair, put on dresses and loves to kiss everything.

We had a fun Thanksgiving in Gunnison and an unsuccessful black friday Walmart trip.

The kids are very excited for Christmas, and *fingers crossed* they will make it on the nice list. Let's hope Santa can get everything done before the big day!

Labor Day and a kitty!

We had a fun weekend with the Petersen side over Labor Day. 2 family reunions and I didn't take one picture :) Yep, that's me! TJ's sister's cat had a litter of kittens so we decided to take one home! She is a cute and very sweet little kitten. TJ came up with the name Shylo and Luke added Splashy onto it. So Shylo Splashy it is! If we ever stop calling it "kitty". It was an interesting 3 hour drive with 3 kids, 2 who cried for a good part of it, one kitty, and trying to feed everyone dinner in the car. Yep, I am a very good multi-tasker. We all survived, I only got peed on a little and eventually everyone fell asleep, well except TJ of course :) Now let's all hope Luke and Zoe will stop pestering the kitty.

Cute little Zoe...

Just some random cuteness ;) Can't get enough of this little sweetie. She is starting to say a few more words, is standing up in the middle of the floor (but won't take more than one step), and shakes her finger and tries to say "can't catch me" like in the aligator song. So cute!

Luke's First Day of Preschool!

Luke started preschool! He is going to Wee Wonders, the same school Beau went to. They told me he had a great first day, the second day he had school he woke up way early in the morning. When I went to pick him up they told me they had to give him a timeout for throwing fits about everything. His true personality came out that second day. Hopefully next time he will be better and more rested! I told his teachers he is nothing like his big brother Beau and now they believe me :)

Beau is 7!

I can't believe my baby is 7! He had a Sunday birthday this year so we did a little partying on Saturday. A dinner at Texas Roadhouse and a trip to Anti-Gravity Arena. Happy Birthday Beau, We love you!

I'm back!

Yes, these are completely random pictures all piled into one weird post, but hey as we say at our house "You get what you get and you don't throw a fit". It seems this is what I have time for these days. Apparently I haven't posted in a while and blogger has made a few changes that are messing me up right now! The top collage is of our July activities, middle is Zoe's birthday and the bottom collage is June. We had a whirlwind of a summer and it seems life won't be slowing down anytime soon!

I know I say this every year, but my kids are growing up too quickly! I can't believe my baby girl is already 1. I haven't posted anything this summer and school starts on Monday. We have had a fun and busy summer and I might get more pictures posted someday :). Zoe's birthday party is tonight and I'm really hoping she tears into her birthday cake! For various reasons, my boys didn't eat their one year old birthday cakes. I'm hoping she can show them how it's done! We love you Zoe! Happy Birthday!

May Fun...

Random cuteness... Zoe is now 9 months old! That is way to close to one year. She is so cute and funny. She loves to eat everything that we eat. She will yell at us until we give her what we are eating. She can't crawl yet, but she rolls and scoots backwards. She also does baby push ups, she puts her hands and feet on the ground and sticks her bum in the air. Her hair just gets longer and longer on the top- borderline Kramer style. She can say Dada and still laughs and anything her brothers do. She is such a good baby and so much fun!

Shane (TJ's little bro) and Corey got married in the Manti Temple :). It was a beautiful rainy day- makes for great pictures without squinty eyes.

Some fun May activities... Beau started baseball and is having a blast. We had a few warm days in the backyard. And had a visit from some cute Petersen cousins. They all sat down to read books together, it was so cute.

It's been a very eventful weekend..

Beau has had 2 wiggly, snaggley front teeth for what seems like months now. His big tooth was coming in and pushed the 2 baby teeth way over to one side.

He wiggled and wiggled and finally got one out before bed. Just a little while later he was yelling from his bed that he pulled out the other one! Wow, lucky tooth fairy tonight. 2 for 1 :)He was pretty darn excited.

My friend Amber came down so of course I had to have her cut my hair again! It's super short and spikey and I love it! I think it is some kind of rule that once you have 3 kiddos your hair can be as short as you want it. And Zoe is adorable in this picture.

And the biggest event of the weekend... TJ celebrated his 30th birthday on Saturday! Wow, that's gettin' up there sweetie :). We had a fun day and as you can see we look a little bit exhausted in the pic below from our eventful day.

Yep, it was good weekend for sure!

A few fun changes..

Zoe is now 7 months old and she can sit up all by herself. No signs of crawling anytime soon, so luckily I don't have to worry about baby proofing and moving all the tiny little choking hazards.

My little Lukey turned 4 on the 7th of March! He is a constant ball full of energy and thinks he can do anything himself! I can't believe he is so old and still quite a stinker! He is certainly my most challenging child right now. You can see from the pictures he got glasses a little while ago, and he does great with them. Although we visit the eye doc about every week to get them adjusted. I also chopped all of my hair off. After about 4 months of hair falling out in clumps from having Zoe, it was time for a change. I love it!

And Beau's playing soccer! He got to be the goalie at the last game, but didn't get too much action. He doesn't kick the ball too often in a game, but he runs around with a big smile on his face the whole time.
We also had a very fun trip to the sand dunes in Snow Canyon with a lot of friends from our ward. I forgot to bring my camera, but I wanted to remember it!

Zoe Bug is 6 months old today!

*I can roll over all by myself.
*I like to eat some fruits and veggies, but no rice cereal please.
*I laugh and smile at almost anything.
*Everytime I get my diaper changed, I grab at my feet and giggle.
*Up until very recently, I liked to be swaddled like a newborn to go to sleep. Now I just need a blanket and my crib.
*My eyebrows get red when I am tired or angry.
*I love to cuddle.
*Everyone in my family adores me.

We love you Zoe Bug! Now stop growing up so quickly.

Just Zoe..

No, I did not style her hair that way. It sticks straight up in the middle and lays down on the sides. Apparently she is trying to grow a flat top. And yes, those are real earrings. I am the mean Mom who pierced her baby girls ears. I immediatly felt very vain for putting her through the pain. But they are so cute!

Finally!

An update! I finally got a little sick of seeing Halloween on my blog so here it is...

A little photo shoot with Zoe :). I love the one in the middle smiling with her bottom lip sucked in. And yes, she looks like a female version of daddy!

Christmas was lots of fun this year! Beau had a whole week off of school before Christmas, so we had to do lots of activities to keep them busy. Santa loved the reindeer cookies!

The kids got pretty spoiled again this year! (Beau is holding an air soft gun, not a real one in case you were wondering!) We packed up and went to Gunnison on Christmas day. It was great to see everyone! And I forgot to take a single picture while we were there :)

And this was Thanksgiving. Lots of fun and of course great food! My favorite was the triple rainbow salad. (thanks, Billy!)
