Picture tag!

Here is my 4th pic in my 4th folder. If you are reading this you have been tagged. It's really quite an easy one. This is a pic of my boys eating lunch together in our old house. Aren't they just so darn cute? I love having boys and I love that they get along so well. Of course they have their moments, but they love playing together. Which is so nice for me!

LUKE'S B-DAY PARTY!

They monkey cake... hand print courtesy of Campbell. Beau decided the eyes were the best place for the candles.

He had some helpers blowing out the candles.

A big mouthful of ice cream.. believe it or not he is enjoying it.

Luke opening the presents- Thanks again everybody!

Getting the kites ready to fly.

Backyard!

The big helper on the sod.

They dropped off the sod and we thought to ourselves "I hope that will be enough!"

After a little blood, a lot of sweat, and some of Luke's tears (he was sick and wanted to be held the whole time) we finished our little backyard! Hooray- instant grass. Gotta love it!

They even got a little sandbox. Does it remind you of something found on a golf course? (minus the sandbox toys)

TJ worked really hard putting in the sprinklers while we were up North. And last week we laid the sod and planted a few plants. I added a couple tomato plants yesterday so hopefully they will give us something. It's so fun to have it done- no more red dirt getting tracked all over the house! It's a little backyard and I was pretty glad when we were rolling out the sod. That gets a little tough. Anyway, we love it here and we love our house! We are so blessed.

Seriously people... Why do we buy toys!?

This is the boys playing in their "house" a.k.a. the lawnmower box. And once again I find myself asking "Why do we buy keep buying them toys?" Did I mention that this is after Luke's party where he got lots of new fun toys? They spent hours in there "decorating" their house. It was also used as a "Beau-in-the-box". And I sang the jack-in-the-box tune about a hundred times so Beau could jump out of it. Whatever keeps them busy... I guess.

They also played with this leftover tablecloth from the party. Grandma Petersen and Beau drew a road and some other stuff on it and they drove cars on it for quite a while.

My baby is 2!

I can't believe Luke turned 2 yesterday! It really doesn't seem like he should be so old yet. I have to admit it makes me sad to see my boys grow up so fast. Luke was a tough kid to bring into this world, but we can't imagine our family without him! Love you cutie pie- Happy Birthday!

This is Luke saying "I'm 2." (of course he says it much cuter)

Presents from Mom and Dad

Pirate Island Pizza trip

Birthday ice cream- don't worry he will get cake on Saturday for his party.

I put some of his scrapbook pages on to remember how tiny he was. He has come such a long way and he is doing great! It's hard to believe he was so small.

Fun trip!

Last week I went up to stay with my sister Melissa while her hubby was gone for a few days. Just the boys and I went. I don't have any pictures because in the whirlwind of packing I forgot to pack my camera. Hopefully Lindsay will send me some:) We had a really fun time and Melissa learned what she needs to baby proof in her house when Lexi starts to get around! Luke is still very crazy and into everything. He even broke the arms off of her clock that was in the basement. (sorry again!) Among other things I had to rearrange her house while we were there. Beau was as stubborn as usual and spent more time in the corner in those few days than he had in the past month! So other that my crazy kids, we had lots of fun. We went to the Hoogle Zoo on Wednesday- It was a free day so it was a little crazy. The kids had fun and the mommies got really tuckered out. Melissa and I both fell asleep on the couch at 8:45 that night. I watched Lexi while Melissa worked on Thurs. and Fri. and I got a little taste of what it would be like to have 3 kids. I don't think I like the idea too much yet! It was a little too crazy at times. And to end the fun week we went to Parker and Spencer's b-day party at Kangaroo Zoo. Beau loved it but Luke had to get talked into it a little. It only took one time down the slide with me and he wanted to do it again and again. It was a really fun party. I'm glad we were able to come! And then I headed back home after that. While we were gone, TJ got our whole sprinkler system put in the back yard. woo hoo- glad I got to get out of that one! Hopefully we will finish it up next week and get the lawn put in. I'm very sick of the red dirt getting tracked through the whole house. Another eventful day on Sunday- we were getting ready to go to bed and we hear a crash outside. (our house backs to the road) TJ went out to look and there was a car on top of our neighbor's cinder block fence. The guy driving fell asleep and went off the road and somehow ended on top of the fence! So crazy! He walked out of the car and was just fine. We were so grateful it wasn't our fence! I never thought anything like that would happen and it probably never will again while we live here.
